1.
The
bureau
shall
retain
a
prosecuting
attorney
to

prosecute
any
criminal
action
for
workers’
compensation
fraud,

in
all
counties
of
the
state,
which
may
be
brought
pursuant
to

this
chapter
in
which
the
bureau
may
be
interested
and
when,
in
24
the
judgment
of
the
prosecuting
attorney,
the
interest
of
the
25
bureau
requires
such
action
be
taken.

2.
The
prosecuting
attorney
or
commissioner
of
insurance
27
may
request
the
assistance
of
a
county
attorney
to
assist
with
28
or
handle
the
prosecution
of
a
criminal
action
for
workers’
29
compensation
fraud
which
may
be
brought
pursuant
to
this
30
chapter.

3.
The
prosecuting
attorney
retained
by
the
bureau
pursuant

to
this
section
shall
report
to
the
commissioner
of
insurance.
