Page 1, line 9, after < schools. > by inserting < The 2 board of directors of a school district shall exercise powers 3 authorized under this section so as to provide to every student 4 enrolled in the school district a high quality education 5 incorporating rigorous and relevant standards of academic 6 content; current and comprehensive textbooks and instructional 7 materials; safe and adequate buildings, facilities, and 8 equipment; and quality, competent instruction provided by 9 teachers licensed under chapter 272.
