an
interpreting

the
facility
based
on
standards
as
defined

in
nationally
recognized
guidelines
or
systems
for

breast
imaging
reporting
of
mammography
screening,

including
the
breast
imaging
reporting
and
data
system
17
of
the
American
college
of
radiology.
For
patients
18
categorized
as
having
heterogeneously
dense
breasts
or
19
extremely
dense
breasts,
or
an
equivalent
determination
20
by
another
nationally
recognized
density
gradient
21
system,
the
report
to
the
patient
shall
include
22
evidence-based
information
on
dense
breast
tissue,
the
23
increased
risk
associated
with
dense
breast
tissue,
24
and
the
effects
of
dense
breast
tissue
on
screening

mammography.
