By striking page 20, line 24, through page 5 21, line 6, and inserting: 6 < 1. The board shall establish evaluation criteria 7 and shall implement evaluation procedures. If an 8 exclusive bargaining representative has been certified, 9 the board shall negotiate in good faith with respect to 10 evaluation procedures pursuant to chapter 20. 11 2. The determination of standards of performance 12 expected of school district personnel shall be 13 reserved as an exclusive management right of the 14 school board and shall not be subject to mandatory 15 negotiations under chapter 20. Notwithstanding chapter 16 20, objections Objections to the procedures, use, 17 or content of an evaluation in a teacher termination 18 proceeding brought before the school board in a hearing 19 held in accordance with section 279.16 or 279.27 shall 20 not be subject to the grievance procedures negotiated 21 in accordance with chapter 20. A school district shall 22 not be obligated to process any evaluation grievance 23 after service of a notice and recommendation to 24 terminate an individual’s continuing teaching contract 25 in accordance with this chapter. >> 26 2.
