Page 12, after line 24 by inserting: 3 < DIVISION ___ 4 SECURE AN ADVANCED VISION FOR EDUCATION —— EXTENSION 5 Sec. ___. Section 423.2, subsection 11, paragraph b, 6 subparagraph (3), Code 2018, is amended to read as follows: 7 (3) Transfer one-sixth of the remaining revenues to the 8 secure an advanced vision for education fund created in section 9 423F.2 . This subparagraph (3) is repealed December 31, 2029 10 January 1, 2040 . 11 Sec. ___. Section 423.2, subsection 14, Code 2018, is 12 amended to read as follows: 13 14. The sales tax rate of six percent is reduced to five 14 percent on January 1, 2030 2040 . 15 Sec. ___. Section 423.5, subsection 5, Code 2018, is amended 16 to read as follows: 17 5. The use tax rate of six percent is reduced to five 18 percent on January 1, 2030 2040 . 19 Sec. ___. Section 423.43, subsection 1, paragraph b, Code 20 2018, is amended to read as follows: 21 b. Subsequent to the deposit into the general fund of 22 the state and after the transfer of such revenues collected 23 under chapter 423B , the department shall transfer one-sixth of 24 such remaining revenues to the secure an advanced vision for 25 education fund created in section 423F.2 . This paragraph is 26 repealed December 31, 2029 January 1, 2040 . 27 Sec. ___. Section 423F.4, Code 2018, is amended to read as 28 follows: 29 423F.4 Borrowing authority for school districts. 30 A school district may anticipate its share of the revenues 31 under section 423F.2 by issuing bonds in the manner provided in 32 section 423E.5 , Code 2018 .
