For purposes of section 8.33, unless 8 specifically provided otherwise, moneys appropriated 9 in section 3, subsection 8, paragraph “b”, of this 10 division of this Act as amended by 2012 Iowa Acts, 11 chapter 1140, section 18 , that remain unencumbered or 12 unobligated at the close of the fiscal year beginning 13 July 1, 2014, shall not revert but shall remain 14 available for the purpose designated until the close 15 of the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2016, or until 16 the project for which the appropriation was made is 17 completed, whichever is earlier. 18 3.
