of
the

not
use
an
unmanned
aerial
vehicle

automated

or
remote
system
for
traffic
law
enforcement
including

but
not
limited
to
an
unmanned
aerial
vehicle
and
any

device
with
one
or
more
sensors
working
in
conjunction
15
with
a
traffic-control
signal
or
device,
signal
light,
16
speed
measuring
device,
or
parking
meter
device
.

REMOVAL
OF
AUTOMATED
OR
REMOTE
TRAFFIC

VALIDITY
OF
PRIOR
NOTICES

AND
CITATIONS.
On
or
before
July
1,
2016,
a
local
20
authority
using
an
automated
or
remote
traffic
law
21
enforcement
system
shall
discontinue
using
the
system
22
and
remove
the
system
equipment.
Effective
July
1,
23
2016,
all
local
ordinances
authorizing
the
use
of
an
24
automated
or
remote
traffic
law
enforcement
system
25
are
void.
However,
notices
of
violations
mailed
or
26
citations
issued
pursuant
to
such
an
ordinance
prior
to
27
July
1,
2016,
shall
not
be
invalidated
by
the
enactment
28
of
this
Act
and
shall
be
processed
according
to
the
29
provisions
of
the
law
under
which
they
were
authorized.

EFFECTIVE
UPON
ENACTMENT.
The
section
31
of
this
division
of
this
Act
relating
to
the
removal
32
of
automated
or
remote
traffic
law
enforcement
systems
33
and
the
validity
of
prior
notices
and
citations,
being
34
deemed
of
immediate
importance,
takes
effect
upon
35
