.
16A.
The
board
of
supervisors

may
by
ordinance
allow
for
the
use
and
explosion
of

consumer
fireworks
within
the
county.
If
the
board

supervisors
adopts
an
ordinance
pursuant
to
this

subsection,
a
petition
meeting
the
requirements

in

may

filed
with
the

supervisors
within

effective
date

the
ordinance

question
of

continue

the

is

shall
be

The
city
council
may

consumer

727.2

city.

council

ordinance

to

subsection,
a
petition

the

authorized
by

city
code
may
be

the
clerk
within
