Section 272.10, subsection 2, Code 5 2016, is amended to read as follows: 6 2. Licensing fees are payable to the treasurer 7 of state and shall be deposited with the executive 8 director of the board. The executive director 9 shall deposit twenty-five twenty percent of the fees 10 collected annually with the treasurer of state and 11 the fees shall be credited to the general fund of 12 the state. The remaining licensing fees collected 13 during the fiscal year shall be retained by and are 14 appropriated to the board for the purposes related to 15 the board’s duties. Notwithstanding section 8.33 , 16 licensing fees retained by and appropriated to the 17 board pursuant to this section that remain unencumbered 18 or unobligated at the close of the fiscal year shall 19 not revert but shall remain available for expenditure 20 for the activities of the board as provided in this 21 chapter until the close of the succeeding fiscal year. > 22 2.
