LAW ENFORCEMENT EFFECTIVENESS AND 4 SAFETY —— LEGISLATIVE INTENT. It is the intent of the 5 general assembly that a motor vehicle operated on the 6 public highways of this state other than a motorcycle, 7 motorized bicycle, truck tractor, motor vehicle which 8 is model year 1948 or older, or a reconstructed or 9 specially constructed vehicle built to resemble a 10 model year 1948 vehicle or older, shall not be issued 11 only one registration plate for display on the rear 12 of the vehicle, but shall be issued one registration 13 plate for display on the front of the vehicle and one 14 registration plate for display on the rear of the 15 vehicle to ensure the effective enforcement of the 16 laws of this state and the safety of this state’s law 17 enforcement officers. > 18 ______________________________ BAUDLER of Adair -1- HF540.1101 (1) 86 ns/nh 1/ 1 #1.
