NEW SECTION . 321J.17A Ignition 31 interlock device providers —— low-income rate costs. 32 An approved ignition interlock device provider shall 33 not charge more than two hundred fifty dollars for 34 costs associated with the installation, maintenance, 35 and removal of an approved ignition interlock device 36 for a six-month period to any of the following persons: 37 1. A person with an income equal to or less than 38 one hundred fifty percent of the federal poverty level. 39 2. A person who qualifies for programs supporting 40 low-income persons including but not limited to 41 the medical assistance program, the Iowa health and 42 wellness plan, the federal food assistance programs, 43 and any other state or federal benefit assistance 44 program administered by the department of human 45 services. > 46 5.
