NEW SECTION . 321J.17A Ignition 21 interlock device providers —— low-income rate costs. 22 An approved ignition interlock device provider shall 23 not charge more than two hundred fifty dollars for 24 costs associated with the installation, maintenance, 25 and removal of an approved ignition interlock device 26 for a six-month period to any of the following persons: 27 1. A person with an income equal to or less than 28 one hundred fifty percent of the federal poverty level. 29 2. A person who qualifies for programs supporting 30 low-income persons including but not limited to 31 the medical assistance program, the Iowa health and 32 wellness plan, the federal food assistance programs, 33 and any other state or federal benefit assistance 34 program administered by the department of human 35 services. > 36 4.
