Section 435.1, subsection 6, Code 2013, 3 is amended to read as follows: 4 6. “Mobile home park” means a site, lot, field, or 5 tract of land upon which three or more mobile homes , 6 or manufactured homes, modular homes, or motor homes, 7 or a combination of any of these homes, are placed 8 on developed spaces and operated as a for-profit 9 enterprise with water, sewer or septic, and electrical 10 services available. The term “mobile home park” 11 shall not be construed to include manufactured or 12 mobile homes, buildings, tents, or other structures 13 temporarily maintained by any an individual, 14 educational institution, or company on their own 15 premises and used exclusively to house their own labor 16 or students. The term “mobile home park” shall not be 17 construed to include a campground as defined in section 18 557B.1. 19 Sec. ___. Section 435.1, Code 2013, is amended by 20 adding the following new subsection: 21 NEW SUBSECTION . 8. “Motor home” means as defined 22 in section 321.1, subsection 36C. 23 Sec. ___. Section 562B.7, subsection 7, Code 2013, 24 is amended to read as follows: 25 7. “Mobile home park” shall mean any means a site, 26 lot, field , or tract of land upon which three or more 27 mobile homes, manufactured homes, or modular homes , or 28 motor homes, or a combination of any of these homes , 29 are placed on developed spaces and operated as a 30 for-profit enterprise with water, sewer or septic, and 31 electrical services available. The term “mobile home 32 park” shall not be construed to include manufactured 33 or mobile homes, buildings, tents, or other structures 34 temporarily maintained by an individual, educational 35 institution, or company on their own premises and used 36 exclusively to house their own labor or students. 37 The term “mobile home park” shall not be construed to 38 include a campground as defined in section 557B.1. 39 Sec. ___.
