The state director shall cause to be prepared 7 from time to time classified and itemized price 8 lists of the products manufactured by Iowa state 9 industries. Such lists shall be furnished to all 10 boards of supervisors, boards of directors of school 11 corporations, city councils, and all other state, 12 county, city , and school departments and officials 13 empowered to purchase supplies and equipment for public 14 purposes. 15 2. If an entity described in this section declines 16 to purchase a product manufactured by Iowa state 17 industries, and the price of the product purchased 18 exceeds the price of the same or a similar product 19 manufactured by Iowa state industries, the entity shall 20 not use moneys received from property taxes to pay for 21 the cost of the product purchased. > 22 2.
