Each
school
district
attendance
center
15
shall
convene
a
teacher
advisory
committee
composed
16
of
an
odd
number
of
teachers
who
shall
be
appointed

by
a
majority
vote
of
the
teaching
staff
employed
by
18
the
school
district
to
work
at
the
attendance
center
19
full-time.
The
committee
shall
review
each
application
20
submitted
to
the
committee
by
a
classroom
teacher
who
21
wishes
to
become
a
model,
mentor,
or
lead
teacher.
22
Applications
selected
by
a
simple
majority
vote
of
the
23
committee
members
shall
be
submitted
by
the
committee
24
to
the
administrators
of
the
attendance
center.
25
Applicants
shall
be
reviewed
by
the
administrators
26
of
the
attendance
center
who
shall,
by
a
simple
27
majority
final
vote,
determine
whether
to
approve
the
28
application.
Any
applicant
who
receives
at
least
two
29
final
votes
is
eligible
for
appointment
as
a
model,
30
mentor,
or
lead
teacher.
If
multiple
applicants
are
31
determined
to
be
eligible,
the
eligible
applicants
32
shall
be
interviewed
by
a
team
consisting
of
a
member
33
of
the
teacher
advisory
committee;
an
administrator
who
34
previously
reviewed
the
application
and
voted
on
the
35
application;
and
the
attendance
center’s
principal,
36
who
shall
consider
the
advice
of
the
teacher
on
the
37
interview
team.
