House File 2465 S-5246 Amend the amendment, S-5236, to House File 2465, 1 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as 2 follows: 3 1. Page 9, after line 30 by inserting: 4 < Sec. ___. Section 321.105A, subsection 2, 5 paragraph c, Code Supplement 2011, is amended by adding 6 the following new subparagraph: 7 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (31) Motor vehicles subject to 8 registration which are held for sale by a motor vehicle 9 dealer in this state, subject to all of the following: 10 (a) The motor vehicles were new motor vehicles 11 at the time they were acquired by the motor vehicle 12 dealer. 13 (b) The motor vehicle dealer had a franchise 14 agreement with the manufacturer of the motor vehicles 15 at the time the motor vehicle dealer acquired the new 16 motor vehicles. 17 (c) After the motor vehicle dealer acquired the new 18 motor vehicles, the manufacturer of the motor vehicles 19 ceased to hold a valid manufacturer’s license pursuant 20 to section 322.27 or discontinued the brand of motor 21 vehicles. 22 (d) Not more than one year has elapsed from 23 the time the manufacturer ceased to hold a valid 24 manufacturer’s license pursuant to section 322.27 or 25 discontinued the brand of motor vehicles. > 26 2.
