The fund shall also consist of moneys 7 transferred from the Medicaid fraud fund created in 8 section 249A.7. Moneys in the fund shall be separate 9 from the general fund of the state and shall not be 10 considered part of the general fund of the state. 11 However, the fund shall be considered a special account 12 for the purposes of section 8.53 relating to generally 13 accepted accounting principles. Moneys in the fund 14 shall be used only as specified in this section and 15 shall be appropriated only for the uses specified. 16 Moneys in the fund are not subject to section 8.33 17 and shall not be transferred, used, obligated, 18 appropriated, or otherwise encumbered, except as 19 provided in this section .
