Section 103.2, subsection 2, paragraph 4 c, Code 2011, is amended to read as follows: 5 c. One member shall be an electrical inspector 6 actively engaged in farming . 7 Sec. ___. Section 103.2, subsection 3, Code 2011, 8 is amended to read as follows: 9 3. a. The governor shall appoint an electrical 10 inspector to serve in an ex officio, nonvoting 11 capacity. 12 b. The public members of the board shall be 13 allowed to participate in administrative, clerical, or 14 ministerial functions incident to giving a licensure 15 examination, but shall not determine the content of 16 the examination or determine the correctness of the 17 answers. 18 c. Professional associations or societies composed 19 of licensed electricians may recommend to the 20 governor the names of potential board members whose 21 profession is representative of that association 22 or society. However, the governor is not bound by 23 the recommendations. A board member shall not be 24 required to be a member of any professional electrician 25 association or society. > 26 2. Page 2, by striking lines 9 through 19 and 27 inserting: 28 < NEW SUBSECTION . 15. Apply to a farmer performing 29 an installation on a farm which does not exceed thirty 30 amperes capacity. Such installations shall not require 31 a license or be subject to inspection. Installations 32 on a farm performed by a farmer exceeding thirty 33 amperes capacity shall be subject to inspection and 34 associated inspection fees as otherwise applicable 35 pursuant to this chapter. 36 Sec. ___. Section 103.31, Code 2011, is amended by 37 adding the following new subsection: 38 NEW SUBSECTION . 7. An inspector performing an 39 inspection pursuant to this section or section 103.29 40 who enters on private farm property must comply with 41 all biosecurity and restricted-access protocols 42 established by the owner or manager of the farm. 43 Sec. ___. Section 103.32, Code 2011, is amended by 44 adding the following new subsection: 45 NEW SUBSECTION . 2A. Notwithstanding subsection 2, 46 or any other provision to the contrary, an inspection 47 fee shall be imposed for an installation on a farm 48 subject to inspection pursuant to this chapter in 49 the amount of thirty dollars for installations of up 50 -1- HF618.2683 (2) 84 rn/rj 1/ 2 #1. #2.
