Page 1, line 15, after < university. > by 3 inserting < Each school district wishing to participate 4 in a consortium shall, not less than twenty days 5 prior to requesting approval from the department of 6 education, hold a public hearing on the question of 7 participation in the proposed consortium. The school 8 district shall publish a notice of the public hearing 9 and a statement of the school district’s intent to 10 participate in the consortium in a newspaper of general 11 circulation in the school district at least ten days 12 prior to the date of the hearing. In addition to 13 the date, time, and location of the hearing, the 14 notice shall include a description of the consortium’s 15 proposed efforts and a description of the funding to be 16 used by the proposed consortium. > 17 2.
