amended
to
read
as
follows:

(1)
Changing,
at
the
guardian’s
request,

the
ward’s
permanent
residence
if
the
proposed
new

residence
is
more
restrictive
of
the
ward’s
liberties
8
than
the
current
residence.

(2)
If
a
ward
is
removed
from
the
ward’s
residence,
10
the
guardian
shall
provide,
prior
to
the
removal,
11
notice
of
the
removal
to
the
ward’s
family
by
12
registered
mail
and
such
notice
shall
include
a
period
13
of
time
for
the
ward’s
family
to
remove
personal
items
14
from
the
ward’s
home.

2.
Section
633.641,
Code
2011,
is
amended
to

read
as
follows:

Duties
of
conservator
——
ward
receiving

medical
assistance
.

1.
a.
It
is
the
duty
of
the
conservator
of
the
20
estate
to
protect
and
preserve
it,
to
invest
it
21
prudently,
to
account
for
it
as
herein
provided,
and
to
22
perform
all
other
duties
required
of
the
conservator
by
23
law,
and
at
the
termination
of
the
conservatorship,
to
24
deliver
the
assets
of
the
ward
to
the
person
entitled
25
thereto.

b.
If
a
ward
is
removed
from
the
ward’s
residence,
27
the
conservator
shall
provide,
prior
to
the
removal,
28
notice
of
the
removal
to
the
ward’s
family
by
29
registered
mail
and
such
notice
shall
include
a
period
30
of
time
for
the
ward’s
family
to
remove
personal
items
31
from
the
ward’s
home.

2.
The
conservator
shall
report
to
the
department
33
of
human
services
the
assets
and
income
of
any
34
ward
receiving
medical
assistance
under
chapter
35
249A
.
Reports
shall
be
made
upon
establishment
of
36
a
conservatorship
for
an
individual
applying
for
37
or
receiving
medical
assistance,
upon
application
38
for
benefits
on
behalf
of
the
ward,
upon
annual
or
39
semiannual
review
of
continued
medical
assistance
40
eligibility,
when
any
significant
change
in
principal
41
or
income
occurs
in
the
conservatorship
account,
or
42
as
otherwise
requested
by
the
department
of
human
43
services.
Written
reports
shall
be
provided
to
44
the
department
of
human
services
county
office
for
45
the
county
in
which
the
ward
resides
or
the
county
46
office
in
which
the
ward’s
medical
assistance
is
47
administered.
