(1)
The
board
of
directors
of
a
school
district

agency,
the
superintendent
of
a

district,
the
chief
administrator
of
an
area

education
agency,
and
the
authorities
in
charge
of
an
9
accredited
nonpublic
school
shall
report
to
the
board
10
any
instance
of
disciplinary
action
taken
against
a
11
licensed
school
employee
by
the
board
of
directors
12
of
the
school
district
or
area
education
agency,
13
the
superintendent
of
the
school
district,
the
chief
14
administrator
of
the
area
education
agency,
or
the
15
authorities
in
charge
of
the
accredited
nonpublic
16
school
for
conduct
constituting
any
of
the
following:
17
(a)
Soliciting,
encouraging,
or
consummating
a
18
romantic
or
otherwise
inappropriate
relationship
with
a
19
student.
20
(b)
Falsifying
student
grades,
test
scores,
or
21
other
official
information
or
material.

(c)
Converting
public
property
or
funds
to
the
23
personal
use
of
the
school
employee.

(2)
The
board
of
directors
of
a
school
district
25
or
area
education
agency,
the
superintendent
of
a
26
school
district
or
,
the
chief
administrator
of
an
27
area
education
agency,
and
the
authorities
in
charge
28
of
a
nonpublic
school
shall
report
to
the
board
the
29
nonrenewal
or
termination,
for
reasons
of
alleged
or
30
actual
misconduct,
of
a
person’s
contract
executed
31
under
sections
279.12
,
279.13
,
279.15
through
279.21
,
32
279.23
,
and
279.24
,
and
the
resignation
of
a
person
33
who
holds
a
license,
certificate,
or
authorization
34
issued
by
the
board
as
a
result
of
or
following
an
35
incident
or
allegation
of
misconduct
that,
if
proven,
36
would
constitute
a
violation
of
the
rules
adopted
by
37
the
board
to
implement
section
272.2,
subsection
14
,
38
paragraph
“b”
,
subparagraph
(1),
when
the
board
or
39
reporting
official
has
a
good
faith
belief
that
the
40
incident
occurred
or
the
allegation
is
true.
The
41
board
may
deny
a
license
or
revoke
the
license
of
an
42
administrator
if
the
board
finds
by
a
preponderance
43
of
the
evidence
that
the
administrator
failed
to
44
report
the
termination
or
resignation
of
a
school
45
employee
holding
a
license,
certificate,
statement
of
46
professional
recognition,
or
coaching
authorization,
47
for
reasons
of
alleged
or
actual
misconduct,
as
defined
48
by
this
section
.
