OPEN SPACES ACCOUNT —— LIMITATIONS ON 9 USE. Notwithstanding section 455A.19, subsection 10 1, paragraph “a”, for the fiscal year beginning July 11 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012, moneys deposited 12 into the open spaces account of the Iowa resources 13 enhancement and protection fund created pursuant to 14 sections 455A.18 and 455A.19, subsection 1, paragraph 15 “a”, shall not be used for any purpose related to 16 the acquisition of land, including but not limited to 17 acquisition by purchase, lease, or lease-purchase, if 18 the department would be the titleholder or a lessee or 19 lessor of the land. 20 DIVISION VI 21 RELATED STATUTORY CHANGES 22 Sec. 17. Section 455G.3, subsection 8, Code 2011, 23 is amended by adding the following new unnumbered 24 paragraph: 25 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH . Notwithstanding section 26 8.33, moneys appropriated in this subsection that 27 remain unencumbered or unobligated at the close of the 28 fiscal year shall not revert but shall remain available 29 for expenditure for the purposes designated until the 30 close of the succeeding fiscal year. 31 Sec. 18. EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT.
