Section 99B.7, subsection 8, Code 2011, 4 is amended to read as follows: 5 8. a. A qualified organization licensed under this 6 section shall purchase bingo equipment and supplies 7 only from a manufacturer or a distributor licensed by 8 the department. 9 b. A qualified organization may also lease 10 electronic bingo equipment from a manufacturer or 11 distributor licensed by the department for the purposes 12 of aiding disabled individuals during a bingo occasion. 13 “Electronic bingo equipment” for the purposes of this 14 paragraph means an electronic device that aids in 15 the use of a bingo card during a bingo game. Such 16 electronic bingo equipment shall only be permitted for 17 use by disabled individuals. > 18 2.
