Provide that a background 5 investigation be conducted by the division of criminal 6 investigation of the department of public safety on 7 a person responsible for or providing independent 8 private instruction in accordance with section 299A.1, 9 subsection 2. The director shall require such persons 10 to submit a completed fingerprint packet and shall use 11 the packet to facilitate a national criminal history 12 background check. > 13 2.
