     1  1    Amend Senate File 2235, as amended, passed, and
     1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 8 through 34 and
     1  4 inserting:
     1  5    <a.  The customer is certified as eligible for the
     1  6 federal low=income home energy assistance program.
     1  7    b.  The customer is certified as eligible for the
     1  8 federal low=income home energy assistance program, has
     1  9 received the maximum amount of the annual assistance
     1 10 pursuant to the program, and makes a prepaid cash
     1 11 payment in an amount corresponding to the vendor's
     1 12 stated cash price of that day for two hundred gallons
     1 13 of deliverable fuel.
     1 14    2.  In the event that an unpaid balance is owed
     1 15 by a customer who is certified as eligible for the
     1 16 federal low=income home energy assistance program, the
     1 17 division may offer assistance in facilitating a payment
     1 18 arrangement.>
