     1  1    Amend House File 2472 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  By striking everything after the enacting clause
     1  3 and inserting:
     1  4    <Section 1.  Section 499B.15, Code 2009, is amended
     1  5 by  adding the following new subsection:
     1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  1A.  If the form of administration
     1  7 is a board of administration, board meetings must
     1  8 be open to all apartment owners except for meetings
     1  9 between the board and its attorney with respect to
     1 10 proposed or pending litigation where the contents
     1 11 of the discussion would otherwise be governed by
     1 12 the attorney=client privilege. Notice of each board
     1 13 meeting must be mailed or delivered to each apartment
     1 14 owner at least seven days before the meeting.  Minutes
     1 15 of meetings of the board of  administration must
     1 16 be maintained in written form or in another form
     1 17 that can be converted into written form within a
     1 18 reasonable time.  The official records of the board of
     1 19 administration must be open to inspection and available
     1 20 for photocopying at reasonable times and places.>
