     1  1    Amend Senate File 475, as passed by the Senate, as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 21, by inserting after line 1 the
     1  4 following:
     1  5    <Sec.    .  VACANT, FUNDED FULL=TIME EQUIVALENT
     1  6 POSITIONS.  Notwithstanding any provision to the
     1  7 contrary, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009,
     1  8 and ending June 30, 2010, the director of a department
     1  9 or state agency to which appropriations are made
     1 10 pursuant to this Act shall revert to the general fund
     1 11 of the state at the close of the fiscal year an amount
     1 12 equal to the salary and benefits cost of each
     1 13 full=time equivalent position funded with an
     1 14 appropriation made in this Act that remains vacant for
     1 15 a period of six months or more.>
