     1  3 #1.  Page 14, by striking lines 2 through 4 and
     1  4 inserting the following:  <election held to fill a
     1  5 vacancy in the same county, on the first Tuesday in
     1  6 March or the first Tuesday in May of each year, or on
     1  7 a Tuesday in one other month during the year as
     1  8 determined by the board of supervisors.>
