     1  1    Amend House File 2556, as passed by the House, as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 8, by inserting after line 24 the
     1  4 following:
     1  5    <Sec.    .  Section 533D.9, subsection 1, Code
     1  6 2007, is amended to read as follows:
     1  7    1.  A licensee shall not charge a fee in excess of
     1  8 fifteen twelve dollars and fifty cents on the first
     1  9 one hundred dollars on the face amount of a check or
     1 10 more than ten seven dollars and fifty cents on
     1 11 subsequent one hundred dollar increments on the face
     1 12 amount of the check for services provided by the
     1 13 licensee, or pro rata for any portion of one hundred
     1 14 dollars face value.>
     1 15 #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
