     1  1    Amend Senate File 2120 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 8, the
     1  3 following:
     1  4    <Sec.    .  Section 466A.5, Code 2007, is amended
     1  5 to read as follows:
     1  6    466A.5  ADMINISTRATION.
     1  7    The soil conservation division of the department of
     1  8 agriculture and land stewardship shall provide
     1  9 administrative support to the board.  Not more than
     1 10 one percent of the total moneys deposited in the
     1 11 watershed improvement fund on July 1 of a fiscal year
     1 12 or fifty thousand dollars, whichever is less, is
     1 13 appropriated each fiscal year to the division for the
     1 14 purposes of assisting the watershed improvement review
     1 15 board in administering this chapter.  However, the
     1 16 watershed improvement review board may provide
     1 17 additional moneys to the division as necessary to
     1 18 support the administration of this chapter, which
     1 19 shall be payable from available interest or earnings
     1 20 on moneys in the fund.>
