     1  3 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 8 and 9 and
     1  4 inserting the following:
     1  5    <b.  Every employer, as defined in the federal Fair
     1  6 Labor Standards Act, shall>.
     1  7 #2.  Page 1, line 15, by inserting after the word
     1  8 <greater.> the following:  <For purposes of this
     1  9 chapter, unless the context otherwise requires,
     1 10 "employer" means a person, as defined in chapter 4,
     1 11 who in this state employs for wages an annual average
     1 12 of twelve or more natural persons.>
