     1  1    Amend House File 2359 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  By striking everything after the enacting
     1  3 clause and inserting the following:
     1  4    <Section 1.  VETERANS TRUST FUND.  There is
     1  5 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
     1  6 commission of veterans affairs for the fiscal year
     1  7 beginning July 1, 2008, and ending June 30, 2009, the
     1  8 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
     1  9 to be used for the purpose designated:
     1 10    For deposit in the veterans trust fund created in
     1 11 section 35A.13:
     1 12 .................................................. $  5,000,000>
     1 13 #2.  Title page, by striking lines 1 through 3 and
     1 14 inserting the following:  <An Act making an
     1 15 appropriation to the veterans trust fund.>
     1 16 #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
