     1  1    Amend Senate File 369, as amended, passed, and
     1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 23, by inserting after line 21 the
     1  4 following:
     1  5    <Sec.    .  CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE.  The
     1  6 sections of this Act amending Code sections 50.48 and
     1  7 52.7 shall not take effect unless legislation is
     1  8 enacted during the 2007 regular session appropriating
     1  9 moneys to provide full or partial funding for counties
     1 10 to comply with those sections.  The office of
     1 11 secretary of state shall notify the Code editor when
     1 12 such an appropriation is enacted.>
     1 13 #2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
     1 14 word <systems> the following:  <and providing a
     1 15 contingent effective date>.
