     1  1    Amend the amendment, S=5154, to House File 2362, as
     1  2 passed by the House, as follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 1, line 6, by striking the word <VEHICLE>
     1  4 and inserting the following:  <RECYCLING>.
     1  5 #2.  Page 6, by inserting after line 1 the
     1  6 following:
     1  7    <Sec.    .  CONTINGENT FUTURE REPEAL OF MERCURY=
     1  8 FREE RECYCLING ACT == IMPLEMENTATION OF NATIONAL
     1  9 MERCURY SWITCH RECOVERY PROGRAM.  If a national
     1 10 collaborative mercury switch recovery program
     1 11 involving vehicle manufacturers, steel makers, vehicle
     1 12 dismantlers, vehicle crushers, auto shredders,
     1 13 brokers, members representing the environmental
     1 14 community, state representatives, and the United
     1 15 States environmental protection agency is implemented,
     1 16 the requirements of the national collaborative program
     1 17 shall supersede the provisions of this division, and
     1 18 sections 455B.801 through 455B.809 are repealed.  The
     1 19 director of the department of natural resources shall
     1 20 notify the Code editor of the date when the national
     1 21 collaborative program is implemented.>
