     1  2 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 1 through 17.
     1  3 #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 20 through 30 and
     1  4 inserting the following:
     1  5    <Notwithstanding any other provision of the Code to
     1  6 the contrary, and subject to rules prescribed by the
     1  7 supreme court, if the clerk of the district court
     1  8 sends a mailing or notice to a person or party and the
     1  9 mailing or notice is returned by the postal service to
     1 10 the clerk of the district court as undeliverable, the
     1 11 clerk is not required to send a repeat or subsequent
     1 12 mailing or notice unless the clerk receives an updated
     1 13 mailing address.>
     1 14 #3.  Page 2, by inserting after line 35 the
     1 15 following:
     1 16    <Sec.    .  ADOPTION OF COURT RULE RELATED TO
     1 17 TRIBAL COURTS.  The general assembly acknowledges that
     1 18 contact and interaction between the Iowa court system
     1 19 and federally recognized tribal courts are ever
     1 20 increasing and the general assembly urges the Iowa
     1 21 supreme court to consider developing and prescribing a
     1 22 rule that recognizes the tribal court system and
     1 23 enforces tribal court orders, judgments, and decrees.>
     1 24 #4.  Page 2, by inserting after line 35 the
     1 25 following:
     1 26    <Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This section of this
     1 27 Act creating new section 602.8102A, being deemed of
     1 28 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.>
     1 29 #5.  Title page, by striking lines 2 and 3 and
     1 30 inserting the following:  <branch, including sending
     1 31 notices and reports, and providing an effective date.>
