     1  1    Amend the amendment, H=8566, to House File 2794, as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 10, line 44, by inserting after the words
     1  4 <development expenses> the following:  <for the tax
     1  5 year beginning in the 2006 calendar year only>.
     1  6 #2.  Page 11, by inserting after line 6 the
     1  7 following:
     1  8    <Sec.    .  Section 422.12C, subsection 2,
     1  9 paragraph b, Code Supplement 2005, is amended by
     1 10 striking the paragraph.>
     1 11 #3.  Page 24, by inserting after line 31 the
     1 12 following:
     1 13    <   .  The sections of this division of this Act
     1 14 amending section 422.12C, subsection 2, apply
     1 15 retroactively to January 1, 2006, for tax years
     1 16 beginning on or after that date.>
