     1  1    Amend House File 2762 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  Page 4, by striking lines 17 through 19 and
     1  3 inserting the following:
     1  4    <b.  A copy of a signed purchase agreement or other
     1  5 agreement to purchase soy=based transformer fluid.>
     1  6 #2.  By striking page 4, line 21, through page 5,
     1  7 line 8, and inserting the following:
     1  8    <2.  The department shall calculate the amount of
     1  9 the tax credit for which the applicant is eligible and
     1 10 shall issue the tax credit certificate for that amount
     1 11 or notify the applicant in writing of its refusal to
     1 12 do so.  An applicant whose application is denied may
     1 13 file an appeal with the department within sixty days
     1 14 from the date of the denial pursuant to the provisions
     1 15 of chapter 17A.>
