1 7 Sec. . FY 2006=2007 MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
1 8 REIMBURSEMENT OF INPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES,
1 9 COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTERS, AND PSYCHIATRISTS.
1 10 In combination with any other reimbursement
1 11 increases authorized by law for the indicated
1 12 providers, the department of human services shall seek
1 13 federal approval to amend the medical assistance
1 14 program state plan and shall amend the contract with
1 15 the department's managed care contractor for mental
1 16 health services under the program, in order to
1 17 increase medical assistance program reimbursement
1 18 rates beginning October 1, 2006, to not more than the
1 19 maximum amounts indicated, for all of the following
1 20 providers:
1 21 1. Inpatient mental health services provided at
1 22 hospitals at the cost of the services, subject to
1 23 Medicaid program upper payment limit rules.
1 24 2. Community mental health centers at 100 percent
1 25 of the reasonable costs for the provision of services
1 26 to recipients of medical assistance.
1 27 3. Psychiatrists at the medical assistance program
1 28 fee for service rate.
1 29 Implementation of the provisions of this section is
1 30 contingent upon receipt of federal approval and
1 31 limited to the funding made available through amending
1 32 the contract with the managed care contractor.>
