     1  1    Amend the amendment, H=8477, to House File 2780 as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 2, line 1, by striking the word <a.>
     1  4 #2.  By striking page 2, line 27, through page 3,
     1  5 line 1.
     1  6 #3.  Page 4, by inserting after line 4 the
     1  7 following:
     1  8    <3A.  The department of human services shall review
     1  9 the funding distribution methodology for state case
     1 10 funding described in this section and the cost
     1 11 projections, findings, and recommendations submitted
     1 12 by counties pursuant to this section and provide
     1 13 departmental findings and recommendations to resolve
     1 14 the issues identified.  The department's findings and
     1 15 recommendations shall be submitted to the governor and
     1 16 general assembly on or before January 2, 2007.>
