1 2 #1. Page 6, by inserting after line 33 the

1 4 <Sec. . 2001 Iowa Acts, chapter 185, section
1 5 12, is amended to read as follows:
1 6 SEC. 12. REVERSION. Notwithstanding
1 7 1. Except as provided in subsection 2 and
1 8 notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated in
1 9 this division of this Act shall not revert at the
1 10 close of the fiscal year for which they were
1 11 appropriated but shall remain available for the
1 12 purposes designated until the close of the fiscal year

1 14 which the appropriation was made is completed,
1 15 whichever is earlier.

1 19 the fiscal year for which they were appropriated but
1 20 shall remain available for the purpose designated
1 21 until the close of the fiscal year that begins July 1,
1 22 2005, or until the project for which the appropriation
1 23 was made is completed, whichever is earlier.>

2 3 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.>

2 17 <Sec. . Section 327H.26, Code 2005, is amended
2 18 to read as follows:
2 19 327H.26 DEFINITION DEFINITIONS.
2 20 As used in this chapter, unless the context
2 21 otherwise requires, "department":
2 22 1. "Department" means the state department of
2 23 transportation.
2 24 2. "Authority" means the railway finance authority
2 25 created in chapter 327I.
2 26 Sec. . Section 327I.8, Code 2005, is amended by
2 27 adding the following new subsection:
2 28 NEW SUBSECTION. 8. Administer the railroad
2 29 revolving loan and grant fund as provided in section
2 30 327H.20A.>

2 33 revolving loan fund established in section 327H.20A
