     1  2 #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 13 through 18 and
     1  3 inserting the following:  <After January 1 in even=
     1  4 numbered years When unregistered vessels are
     1  5 registered after May 1 of the second year of the
     1  6 three=year registration period, such unregistered
     1  7 vessels may be registered for the remainder of the
     1  8 current registration period at fifty sixty=six percent
     1  9 of the appropriate registration fee.  When
     1 10 unregistered vessels are registered after May 1 of the
     1 11 third year of the three=year registration period, such
     1 12 unregistered vessels may be registered for the
     1 13 remainder of the current registration period at
     1 14 thirty=three percent of the appropriate registration
     1 15 fee.>
