     1  2 #1.  Page 1, lines 12 and 13, by striking the words
     1  3 <except special mobile equipment>.
     1  4 #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 29 through 34, and
     1  5 inserting the following:
     1  6    <NEW SUBSECTION.  12A.  SPECIAL MOBILE EQUIPMENT.
     1  7 "Special mobile equipment" means every vehicle not
     1  8 designed or used primarily for the transportation of
     1  9 persons or property and incidentally operated or moved
     1 10 over the highways, including road construction or
     1 11 maintenance machinery and ditch=digging apparatus.
     1 12 This description does not exclude other vehicles which
     1 13 are within the general terms of this subsection.>
