     1  1    Amend House File 809 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 18 the
     1  3 following:
     1  4    <bb.  In addition to the other requirements for a
     1  5 disbursement of public moneys for grants, loans, tax
     1  6 incentives, or other financial assistance for economic
     1  7 development, preference shall be given to businesses
     1  8 that will have work that will be solely provided by
     1  9 citizens of the United States who reside within the
     1 10 United States, or any person authorized to work in the
     1 11 United States pursuant to federal law, including legal
     1 12 resident aliens in the United States.  Any vendor who
     1 13 receives such public moneys shall provide such
     1 14 periodic assurances as the state shall require, that
     1 15 the services are solely provided by citizens of the
     1 16 United States who reside within the United States, or
     1 17 any person authorized to work in the United States
     1 18 pursuant to federal law, including legal resident
     1 19 aliens in the United States.>
