     1  1    Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2002, as follows:
     1  2 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 5 and 6 and
     1  3 inserting the following:
     1  4    <MARRIAGE.  SEC. 26.  Marriage or its legal
     1  5 equivalent in this State shall consist only of the
     1  6 legal union of one man and one woman.  In this State,
     1  7 a marriage or its legal equivalent which is contrary
     1  8 to this section shall not be valid or recognized and
     1  9 shall be void from its creation.>
