     1  1    Amend House File 2460, as passed by the House, as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 4 through 9 and
     1  4 inserting the following:  <any other provision to the
     1  5 contrary, prior to enrolling an individual who is
     1  6 required to register as a sex offender under chapter
     1  7 692A, but who is otherwise eligible to enroll in a
     1  8 public school, the board of directors of a school
     1  9 district shall determine the educational placement of
     1 10 the individual.  The tentative agenda for the meeting
     1 11 of the board of directors at which the board will
     1 12 consider such enrollment, issued in accordance with
     1 13 section 21.4, shall specifically state that the board
     1 14 is considering the enrollment of an individual who is
     1 15 required to register as a sex offender under chapter
