     1  2 #1.  Page 16, by inserting after line 30 the
     1  3 following:

     1  5          CULTURAL AND ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICTS
     1  6    Sec.    .  Section 303.3B, as published in Iowa
     1  7 Code Supplement 2003, pertaining to cultural and
     1  8 entertainment districts, is reaffirmed and reenacted.
     1  9    Sec.    .  Section 303.3B, Code Supplement 2003, as
     1 10 reaffirmed and reenacted by this division of this Act,
     1 11 is amended by adding the following new subsection:
     1 12    NEW SUBSECTION.  4.  This section is repealed
     1 13 effective June 30, 2010.
     1 14    Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE AND RETROACTIVE
     1 15 APPLICABILITY PROVISIONS.  This division of this Act,
     1 16 being deemed of immediate importance, takes effect
     1 17 upon enactment, and is retroactively applicable to
     1 18 July 1, 2003.>
