     1  1    Amend the amendment, H=8072, to House File 2302 as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 3 the
     1  4 following:
     1  5    <Section 1.  Section 8.57, subsection 5, paragraph
     1  6 e, Code Supplement 2003, is amended by adding the
     1  7 following new unnumbered paragraph:
     1  8    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  If the total amount of
     1  9 moneys directed to be deposited in the general fund of
     1 10 the state under sections 99D.17 and 99F.11 in a fiscal
     1 11 year is more than the total amount of moneys estimated
     1 12 to be deposited under those sections for that fiscal
     1 13 year by the revenue estimating conference as of the
     1 14 last meeting of the conference prior to that fiscal
     1 15 year, the first two million dollars of the difference
     1 16 shall be credited to the Iowa empowerment fund created
     1 17 in section 28.9 and used for grants to child care
     1 18 centers licensed under chapter 237A.>
