     1  1    Amend the amendment, H=8072, to House File 2302 as
     1  2 follows:
     1  3 #1.  Page 14, line 31, by inserting after the word
     1  4 <dollars.> the following:  <In addition, each
     1  5 agreement concerning purses for horse racing covering
     1  6 any time period within the time period beginning
     1  7 January 1, 2006, and ending December 31, 2020, shall
     1  8 provide that no less than twenty percent of total
     1  9 annual purses for horse racing shall be used to
     1 10 supplement purses for Iowa=foaled and registered
     1 11 horses and that the total annual purses for each horse
     1 12 breed that races shall be the greater of the total
     1 13 annual purse for that breed for calendar year 2005 or
     1 14 sixteen percent of the total annual purses for horse
     1 15 racing.>
