     1  1    Amend House File 358 as follows:
     1  2 #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 14 through 18, and
     1  3 inserting the following:  <plan.  In addition, the
     1  4 life science enterprise shall not acquire or hold
     1  5 agricultural land if the life science enterprise
     1  6 receives receive any form of financing from an Iowa
     1  7 agricultural industry finance corporation as provided
     1  8 in chapter 15E for the purchase or lease of
     1  9 agricultural land in this state.  A life science
     1 10 enterprise that complies with>.
     1 11 #2.  Page 1, by inserting after line 22 the
     1 12 following:
     1 13    <Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed
     1 14 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.>

     1 16 word <financing> the following:  <, and providing an
     1 17 effective date>.
