Research

The research analysts and legal counsel of the LSB perform legal and legislative research services for committees and for individual members of the General Assembly. The research may or may not be directly related to the preparation of a bill draft. The request form that is used for research requests is blue.

Research requests may be made at any time, but during session action will be deferred on research requests not related to bill drafts in favor of bill draft requests in order to facilitate prompt bill drafting.
